Day 1

Welcome to Vietnam!

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, warmly welcome by our tour guide and driver and transfer privately by the comfortable van to the centre of Hanoi (around 35 minutes). Have lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to the hotel to check-in. This afternoon, take a “green car” tour for 35’ around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Stop to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2

Explore Ninn Binh

International breakfast at the hotel. This morning, a 90km drive south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in the 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Halong Bay, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive from Tam Coc to Hoa Lu thru tranquil villages to enjoy the daily life of people in Ninh Binh until reaching the shady temples with much-dedicated wood relieves of King Dinh and King Le, which have been built on the foundation of their former palace. Late afternoon we return to Hanoi. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3

Stunning Halong Bay

International breakfast at the hotel. This morning, pick up at the hotel and start the scenic 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta countryside and have a short break on the way. 12h30, upon arrival in Halong, transfer to the dock and board a charming traditional wooden junk for cruising through the Bay. The cruise passes by rock formations with such names as Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong), and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi) while seafood lunch will be served on board. At the core of the islets, there is a wonderful cave to visit called Thien Cung (Heavenly Residence Grotto). You visit the cave or just choose to relax on the boat or go kayaking around this beautiful area (kayak rental is at your own cost). 16h30, we disembark at Halong pier and make our way back to Hanoi. 20h30, arrive in Hanoi, have dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4

Flying to Hoiann

International breakfast at hotel & check out hotel. This morning, we will begin a fascinating day with visits to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, inclusive of Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, as well as his private residence from 1954 until 1969. The wooden ethnic minority style house, which was built on stilts, is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens. In the same complex, you will see the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. This structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Our next stop will be the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Have lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon, transfer to the airport for our flight to Danang. Upon arrival, pick up at Phu Bai airport by our local guide and driver and transfer to our hotel in Hoian. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 5

Explore Hoian

International breakfast at the hotel. This morning is for Hoian ancient town – when walking over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, Pagodas, and stroll around the market located by Thu Bon river, you may find out the same feelings of the artists, who see the charm of Hoi An a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. Have lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon is for shopping in Hoian. Hoian’s shopping scene is legendary for its plethora of affordable yet quality tailoring services. The streets of Hoian Ancient Town are also lined with shophouses and makeshift stalls selling handicrafts, jewellery, traditional apparel, and shoes while its central marketplace is filled with locals bargaining for fresh produce and foodstuffs. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 6

Mesmerising Golden Bridge

International breakfast at hotel & check out hotel. This morning, we depart from Hoian to Da Nang for Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hill After breakfast at the hotel, at 07:00 our driver and tour guide will take service at the hotel and leave for the hills of Ba Na in Da Nang. Take the cable car that earns 5 points in the world to the Ba Na station. Stop at By Night station to visit the hills of Vong Nguyet, the Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Continue to get on a cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain - the top of the Ba Na range, visiting the top of Nginh Phong, Le Nim Villas, the orchid garden ... Try the climbing train (first and the only funicular) in Vietnam) and visit an ancient French winery (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), Le Jardin D'amour flower garden. Do not miss the walks on the Golden Bridge among the foggy hills of the mountain, enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Da Nang. Lunch at the restaurant (Local Buffet) in Ba Na Hill. Continue to Hue, passing Lang Co Beach and enjoy the landscape of Hai Van (the “Ocean Cloudy Mountain Pass”). On arrival, check-in hotel and relax. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7

Hue City Exploration

International breakfast at the hotel. Being recognized by UNESCO as the 1st Cultural World Heritage for Vietnam, Hue is highlighted by the old royal architectural works and the most traditional Vietnamese lifestyle. This morning, we will discover the charm of the city from the Citadel Complex of Hue, set up by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945, is now one amongst the relics of the Hue ancient Capital – the World Cultural Heritage. This is a huge complex covering an area of 520ha and comprising three circles of ramparts, Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel). Also visit the Dong Ba bustling market. Lunch at a Garden-housed restaurant in “Hue” style. This afternoon, take a boat trip to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Then process to visit the Tombs of King Minh Mang and Khai Dinh – two best-preserved monuments of the Nguyen Emperors since early 19th and early 20th centuries. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8

Flying to Saigon

International breakfast at the hotel and check out the hotel. This morning, transfer to the airport for our flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, pick up at Tan Son Nhat airport by our local guide and transfer to the city centre. Have lunch at a local restaurant en route before transferring to the hotel to check-in. This afternoon begins the city tour at Reunification Palace, formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president. Continue to visit the neo-Romanesque Notredame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. End our tour at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste. Enjoy shopping. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 9

Memories in Cu Chi Tunnel

International breakfast at the hotel. This morning, transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres & kitchens. After a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Then return to Saigon. Arrival Saigon, drop off at the hotel for relaxing. Have dinner at a local restaurant then transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 10

Farewell to Vietnam

International breakfast at the hotel and check out the hotel before 12h00. Transfer on time to the airport for our departure flight.
