Itineraries

Day 1

Welcome to Phnom Penh

Welcome to Phnom Penh – the city retains its traditional Khmer and colonial styles with French villas and large tree-line sidewalk. Pick up and transfer to downtown for lunch at the local restaurant. After the short rest, you will visit the The national museum, a beautiful Khmer architecture building contains more than 5000 art antiques made by bronze, wood, gold, silver, copper, sandstone and others. We then visit Tuol Sleng prison now is the Genocide Museum, the most secret part of the Khmer Rouge regime. It’s also called S-21 (abbreviated for Security Office 21), a Khmer Rouge's premier security camp, specifically designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti-Angkor elements. Drive to check in hotel. Evening transfer for dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2

Explore Phnom Penh

Breakfast at hotel, in the morning we visit the impressive colourful Khmer-style Royal Palace complex build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom. Nearby is Silver pagoda (the emerald Buddha temple), where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver. We will stop at Independence monument before passing through the river-front park where 4 rivers met at a junction include the mystical Mekong. Have lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Siem Reap by road. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, the treasures of the Kingdom of Cambodia, transfer directly to buffet dinner with Apsara dance show at a local restaurant. Check-in hotel and Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3

Mesmerising Angkor Wat

After breakfast, continue visiting the ancient capital of Angkor Thom starting with the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Bayon Temple - unique with its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces, Baphuon temple located in the North of Bayon represented of holy Mount Meru the residence of the gods in Hindu tradition. Finishing the visit to this ancient city by going around The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue visiting the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. This temple is famous for being chosen for major activities of Tomb Raider acted by Celebrity Angelina Jolie. Lunch at the local restaurant. Continue visiting the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm. Afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, highlighted by the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, carved on the walls and tell the stories of Hindu legends. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. Strolling around this massive edifice, seeing many galleries with Columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Enjoy stunning sunset at Pre Rup temple before returning to the town. Have dinner Indian restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4

Siem Reap Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit West Baray Big Pond, a “baray” is a water reservoir built by the ancient Khmer people. After that visit Puok, the real and original place of the Artisans d’Angkor silk, where you will see the full process of silk producing, from the silkworms munch on the Mulberry leaves to spin their cocoons which used to make silk warp. You of course will see the weaving work and purchase the high quality silk products as a beautiful Cambodia souvenir. Have lunch at buffet restaurant. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for flying to Saigon. Upon arrival, picked up by local tour guide and transferred to have dinner at the local restaurant. Transfer to check-in hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 5

The famous Cu Chi Tunnel

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning: and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels. Visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There is more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. You even can experience by crawling some matters in the tunnels. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Return to the downtown. Afternoon: We visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of former South Vietnam until 1975 (the 1960s - Apr 1975s). We have guide who speaks your language (English speaking tour guide) to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s, we can only see from outside because of renovation). Then to visit City Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. Have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 6

Mekong Delta

Breakfast at hotel and check out. Head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products like coconut candy, rice paper. Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life to the local people live along the banks. We stop to visit an island in the area, enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the lush garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Later, embark on other small boats rowed by the local people thru the small canals shadowed by water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee. Lunch is served at local restaurant by the river. In the afternoon, continue to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, a famous pagoda in the area with architecture combination of Chinese, Cambodian, and French cultures. Return to Saigon late afternoon. Drop at shopping place at Saigon Square. At 7:00pm, picked up and transferred for dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 7

Memories of Halong Bay

Have early breakfast at hotel then check out. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi or Hai Phong. Upon arrival, picked up and transfer to Tuan Chau Marina in Halong to embark on the day cruise in Halong Bay, upon arrival, embark a traditional wooden junk for cruising through the Bay, visit its breathtaking seascape created by rocky islands and emerald serene water, with stopovers to discover grottoes inside islands. Lunch will be served on board. Visit Thien Cung cave, which is considered the most beautiful primitive cave of the Bay. The cave is 10,000 square meters with complicated interior structure, many floors, and high ceiling. After 4 hour cruising, disembark the boat and transfer back to Hanoi. Check-in hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8

Relaxing in Hanoi

Breakfast at the hotel. The day is free for leisure for your own exploring. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 9

Farewell to the adventure

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure until check out and transfer to the airport for the onward flight. The standard check-out time is 12:00pm.
